Fire Bomb

After FC in Legazpi Village I rode the train home. It was a terrible day. My left foot got sprained and my vintage leather arm band got thrown off the rails. thanks to the stampede loving train riders. I literally almost wanted to jump off and get it. some friendly people urged me to ge it but i said no, one last picture is all i need.

after all I had bigger things bothering me, one that almost left me crying in the bathroom. one that will probably leave me soaking in the bathtub later in lavender bubbles. I dont do long baths. only when im depressed.

Last night I wanted to throw the towel in. But I cant. because i dont want to. like what Ms. Fenty said, "Sometimes it takes a thousand tries to win, the wait will be ova".

I was late. goodness ONE HOUR!

I was feeling a bit under the weather.
During hair and make up I almost fell asleep because i really wasnt feeling well.

when we were shooting parang mag cocollapse ako. i couldnt balance myself and the simple act of contracting my muscles I had a hard time doing

but it went ok, i think! haha.

it was a very fast shoot, it took longer for hair and make up to finish.

500 Days Of Summer

It has been what? A month since this "iconic" chick-flick hit the theaters and I'm just blogging about it now! haha! forgive me, I've had too much stuff on my hands that I had no time to give a piece of my mind on this film. bettr late than never!

so here's my take on the whole summer-tom love-drunk-fiasco:

I like the movie because its so real. in lay mans term, "may-mga-lecheng-tao-talaga-na-walang-magawa-kung-hindi-mag-pa-asa-at-maging-super-insensitive-na-di-pa-sana-hinampas-na-lang-sila-ng-one-half-one-fourth-ng-walis-tingting-at-di-na-lang-nagpakita-forever-kesa-manira ng-diskarte-ng-iba-na-nag-ta-try-mag-move-on!".

the line i hate the most is "thats when i knew, what I wasnt sure with you".

I hate this line because its so blunt.

you know, in this day and age we could all use a semblance of blissful ignorance. like what the famous poet said, "what you dont know cant hurt you".

yes yes, we all need to know the truth, but sometimes, there are things better left unsaid. love is an investment so the least you could do is respect even it means keeping part of the truth to yourself.

and now i will wait for miley cyrus' the last song. haha! im kidding!

Mr Ramyun: Korean Beef Noodles

After finishing two shoots, we had dinner at this quaint korean noodle house/convenience store. I'm pretty familiar with korean food since my sister used to work for a korean and I also did a restaurant review for Sorabol in greenhills. However I will be the first to admit that Korean is not my flavor because frankly it is too spicy.

Mr. Ramyun

I requested for the noodles to be not spicy. lo and behold it was still spicy!

I was pleasanlty surprised that I was able to finish the bowl! It was quite authentic than my previous eats. I like how the spicyness doesnt stay too long. much like wasabi. which was quite different with Sorabol as I almost vomited from the extreme "anghang".

I even finished the complementary kimchi! I was so suprised that It was really good. I was actually wanting for another bowl!

hopefully when I go back I could try the ice cream as well as the other noodles :)

thanks to sir jason for taking me to Mr. Ramyun :))

Zuni Wine Bar and Restaurant , Greenbelt 5

After my mentally stressing IVT training I ran from north edsa to makati to make it for my 6pm dinner with the HS friends. It's Sam's birthday so I had to be there no matter what.

Actually I had ditched a 4-6 appointment in Absinth because I still had training plus I wont make it for dinner.

It was my first time to dine at ZUNI.

I tell you, the food was amazing, the interiors were truly refined. I love the oil painting on the ceiling! it has that renaissance feel to it.

and calling themselves a wine bar did not dissappoint!

the wine was the tru stand out. it was a very light chardonnay that complemented the food very well!

Foodistah Diaries

buko pandan (max's)

heaven and eggs (eastwood)

tempura grill (tomas)

Farsi's Grill (tomas)

uncle cheffy (eastwood mall)

One of the many reasons why my stomach wont stay flat and fit.

its interesting really, this happened i think in a span of a week of two. Its fun to document.

out of all the things I ate, I must say I enjoyed the buko pandan shots the best. I had two orders. It was my simple reward to myself after working for 4 hours. :)

Bagoong Club and Kozui, Tomas Morato

highschool school musical!

tilapia with some super deletaclbe dressing

Kilawin na Tangigue( super good! this one was for me! because it had no bagoong! lol)

Porkchop and Liempo?

Pastillas de Leche Cheesecake (very very good!)

Sinigang na Hipon

Kozui's all time favorito! anmitsu! yuuum.

Its been such a long time! I remember us being 15 and being in high school. haha.

well I'm glad nothings changed. everyones still cool. and thats the one thing you look forward to when you go home. away from the people who constantly kiss your ass and kind of feed your ego. I mean, its fun right?

people tell you things that you want to hear. but I guess some people who know you since way back look at you the same way and keep you grounded. they can tell you straight up, you look fucked up man.haha and I'm thankful for that. honestly.

I feel so pathetic around them, Rej works for an NGO and is taking her Master's in UP Diliman.

Sam is taking up Med in UERMMC.

Jaymee is working for Inquirer.

Faith has the cutest kid, Seth who turns 3 soon right? :)

and me. hahahaha!

Wala. haha puro monkey business!
